Photographer | Wife & Mother | Art Lover | Cardio Enthusiast | Foodie

Hi! I'm Tamara. Thank you for visiting.

I am a mother of two amazing children, and married to my wonderful husband, Marc. We got married in Sonoma, California over 12 years ago. We love spending all of our time together just hanging out, going on hikes or exploring our city.  I've lived in Atlanta for nearly 20 years and am inspired by my Californian, Brazilian and now Southern roots. I love the beauty of light, of people, and of nature, and attempt to capture that beauty in the work I produce. I became a photographer when my first child was born and realized how incredibly important it is to capture those special fleeting moments. Since I am obsessed with being the best in whatever I do, I dove head first into photography courses.

In my spare time (when I'm not running from one soccer practice or game to another or ballet lessons), I love hanging out with my husband and my family. I love to cook, I love running and spinning classes. I'm known for enjoying red wine and cheese with friends, and for traveling and going to museums. I love making new friends (which is another reason I enjoy being a photographer) and catching up with old friends from high school.

Before I began my photography business, I was in investor relations for a major public relations agency and a Fortune 500 company. I also worked in sell-side equity research. I moved to Georgia from California when I was 20. I have a bachelor's in English Literature from the University of Georgia, did my study abroad at Oxford University, and have an M.B.A. from Kennesaw State University.

I photograph families, children, babies & maternity, and couples. I am very thoughtful about my work and approach each session with a passion to capture the essense of my subjects. I believe that portraits are art created to last for generations. I love getting to know people and connecting with the people I meet.

I have had the honor of having my work featured by The Bloom Forum, The National Association of Child Photographers (NAPCP) as well as others.

I have also had the honor of placing first in the NAPCP Inspired Gallery competition in the color category, second place and honorable mentions in the Shots image competition by the Atlanta School of Photography.

I'd love to hear from you about capturing your moments, or creating beautiful images for your business.
