We started off the New Year with a beautiful maternity session as I revisited this wonderful family this time to document her third pregnancy. Waiting for your baby to arrive is always full of anticipation, discomfort and, of course, full of emotion. The waiting is especially difficult when you have a full house already, with two siblings waiting to greet their new baby sister.
So, let’s start this New Year off by celebrating all of the mothers out there who work so hard to make our lives perfect in the best way they can. I just loved photographing this family again – enjoy!
As we are about to welcome in a new year, and a new decade, I wanted to thank each and every one of my clients for being a part of my life, and allowing me to help create memories for you in your lives. I am also deeply indebted to the wonderful community of photographer friends from NAPCP and Click that I have come to know, and who’ve helped me to grow. Below are my favorite images, as well as awards, recognition and features from the past year.
This past year marked my fourth official year in business. In addition to continuing to grow my family business, I started experimenting with underwater photography, and received an honorable mention at the NAPCP Inspired Gallery event for one of my favorites this summer of my daughter.
Despite the cold weather, it is still possible to get beautiful, festive family portraits in the studio! I first met this family at the beginning of the year to document their newest addition to the family, baby Scarlet. Now that she is nearly nine months old, they wanted updated portraits for the holidays. Of course, we took plenty of time for their oldest boy to have fun playing with cars and train tracks.
Each fall I host a day for fall family mini sessions. It’s the perfect time to get a quick update for holiday cards, or for your wall gallery.
This year, all but one family I saw was a family I had captured before. We enjoyed a beautiful, and crisp, fall morning at Whittier Mill Park on the west side of Atlanta. The leaves were the perfect color for fall portraits! I cannot express the gratitude I have to each and every one of these families for entrusting me with their family portraits. Enjoy! Xoxo, Tamara
I’ve known this family for a few years now and just adore them. Their two children are so sweet – when we were finished with our session, the boy asked if I could join them for dinner and the little girl gave me the biggest hug :).
The best part of family sessions is the time we have to play, and at this age playing is where it’s at. I always tell my parents to relax and let the kids play and let me guide them during their session. This fun-filled session captures just that and all the love they give their children. Thank you for having me capture you again!
